I'm looking for garden plants that grow well on the thin, heavy, poor soils of the Boston Mountains using minimal fertilizer and no pesticides.

March 27
Lotsa work on the garden layout. Planted seeds and plants. I may lose the plants to critters or frost but I've got more in reserve. The little patches of white in the woods are blooming Juneberries
I dropped out of school in 1969 and went to work in the restaurant business, eventually becoming a broiler chef before retiring. I bought some very isolated acreage in the Ozarks in 1978 with the intention to retire there as I have now done.
